Short description

Traditional organic Greek mountain tea from Mount Olympus with a mild, spicy aroma and delicate herbal notes.

Detailed description

Greek mountain tea, botanically Sideritis scardica, is one of the most well-known herbal teas in Mediterranean tea culture and originates from the high-altitude regions of the Olympus mountains, where it has been used for generations. The specific altitude, mineral-rich terrain, and Mediterranean climate shape the character, aroma, and quality of this traditional plant.

When infused, the mountain tea unfolds a mild, spicy, slightly herbaceous aroma with fine, earthy notes. The taste is balanced, soft, and pleasantly round – ideal for anyone who prefers an herbal tea without dominant bitterness. Greek mountain tea is suitable for both pure enjoyment and as part of classic tea rituals.

In Greece, Sideritis scardica has long held cultural significance. The tea is traditionally drunk in everyday life and is an integral part of the regional culinary culture. This centuries-old appreciation is reflected to this day in the careful harvesting and processing.

Our mountain tea comes from certified organic farming and is gently dried to preserve its color, structure, and aroma as best as possible. Whole, natural plant parts are used without any artificial additives, flavorings, or separating agents. The result is an authentic herbal tea that stands for purity and quality.

The tea can also be used in various culinary ways. It can be enjoyed pure or combined with lemon, honey, or other herbs. Its mild profile makes it a popular companion at various times of the day.

With MOLY Greek Mountain Tea Organic from Olympus, you are choosing a traditional natural product that combines origin, craftsmanship, and enjoyment – a classic of Mediterranean tea culture in high-quality organic standard.
