Our History – From Volos to Europe
It all began in Volos, a coastal city in Greece. There, Michael, a dentist with a strong interest in natural prevention, met Emanouil, a phytotherapist with deep knowledge of Mediterranean medicinal plants.
Conversations about botany, phytotherapy, and holistic well-being sparked a friendship, which years later, upon reuniting, blossomed into a shared vision: not just to market plants, but to honor them.
This vision led to the founding of Anthos Botanicals SCE as a European cooperative with a clear stance on quality, origin, and responsibility.

Origin & Cultivation
Our herbs come from their natural home, primarily Greece.
We work with farmers who practice organic farming methods and share our values. Especially in rural regions of Thessaly, we create fair, long-term prospects.
Processing & Quality
Our teas, herbs, and essential oils are processed in our own or closely affiliated facilities. Every stage of production (harvesting, drying, distillation, and bottling) is traceable and transparent.
Food-grade essential oils
Wherever possible, we offer essential oils in food grade.
This is not a given and requires the highest standards for plant material, distillation processes, and analysis. We consistently refrain from using synthetic additives, artificial flavors, and opaque mixtures.

Emanouil combines traditional herbal knowledge with modern insights and responsible processing. In addition to his work at Anthos Botanicals, he organizes guided hikes, workshops, and specialized courses on botany, distillation, and traditional wellness practices in the Pelion Mountains.
