Understanding the background of plants, ingredients, and applications

This knowledge section is aimed at people who want not only to use natural products but to understand them.
Here you will find expertly prepared content covering herbalism, tea preparation, and aromatherapy – with a focus on botanical fundamentals, ingredients, and the current state of scientific research.

Important:
This section is currently under development and is being expanded incrementally. New articles and modules will be added gradually.

What this is about – and what it is not

This knowledge section is clearly separated from the shop and product descriptions.
It is not for sales purposes, but serves to categorize, explain, and objectively explore botanical raw materials and their properties.

Topics covered include, among others:

  • traditional applications from herbalism

  • botanical and chemical components

  • results of current scientific research

  • differences between tradition, experience, and research

Content is presented in an unadulterated, critical, and non-exaggerated manner.

Between tradition and science

Plant knowledge has a long history – yet at the same time, the scientific investigation of plant components is constantly evolving.
In this section, traditional usage concepts and modern research findings are juxtaposed and explained in an understandable way.

The rule is:

  • Not every traditional application is scientifically proven

  • Not every study allows for general conclusions

  • Research is an ongoing process

This very differentiation is part of this knowledge section.

Three thematic areas – under development

The knowledge section is divided into three thematic areas that are continuously being expanded:

Aromatherapy

Fundamentals of essential oils, components, production, and classification of current research.

Tea preparation

Botanical differences, preparation methods, sensory aspects, and plant-based raw materials.

Herbalism

Plant profiles, traditional usage, ingredients, and scientific perspectives.

(The individual subpages will be added gradually.)
