Detailed Description
Our organic laurel oil is obtained from carefully selected organic laurel leaves cultivated at an altitude of 800m and meets the requirements for high-quality food grade. For centuries, laurel has been one of the classic spice plants in Mediterranean and oriental cuisine and is indispensable in many traditional recipes.
The essential oil has a strong, warm-spicy, and slightly balsamic fragrance note. Even the smallest amounts are sufficient to give dishes a deep, characteristic flavor. Laurel oil is particularly popular for flavoring stews, soups, sauces, legumes, vegetable dishes, marinades, as well as meat and fish preparations. It also provides structure and depth of taste in modern vegan and vegetarian recipes.
Due to its high concentration, the oil is very economical. For culinary use, a sparing, drop-by-drop dosage is recommended, ideally diluted in oil, water, broths, or dressings. This allows the intense aroma to be precisely controlled and harmoniously integrated into dishes.
